The life of Guru Tegh Bahadur

There are ten Sikh Gurus who founded and survived the Sikh religion during the Islamic invasion. Guru Tegh Bahadur was ninth Guru who was born on 21 April 1621 and was beheaded by the Islamic Emperor Aurangzeb. Guru Tegh Bahadur was not the only Guru who the Islamic invaders killed. Guru Arjan Dev, the fifth Guru, was the first great martyr in Sikh history when the Islamic Emperor Jahangir executed him for refusing to convert to Islam. Jahangir was the grandfather of Aurangzeb. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, was assassinated by Jamshed Khan and Wasil Beg on the order of Nawab Wazir Khan.
